“Can this use the LMT cord from my other garmin and get the traffic that way too or only through the smart phone link?”

• Good question. Yes, the DriveSmart 61 LMT-S is compatible with both the GTM 60™ and the GTM™ 36 traffic receiver power cables. So if your other Garmin used one of these cables, you can absolutely use it. Thanks, James

• Traffic does NOT work with the receiver/charger cable that worked with my Garmin 50. In fact, when I tried to use it, the unit displayed a "not compatible" message.

• Yes, you can use your old Garmin cable with traffic receiver as I do right now. Previously I owed Garmin Nuvi 3597
