Bluetooth and Wi-Fi are not needed to find addresses with this device. The mapping and points of interest are loaded to the devices memory. This page of the owner’s manual provides instructions on finding an address: http://bit.ly/2ztYoZE
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The answer is yes and it's even simpler than that. You only need WIFI to update the maps. Bluetooth is to get traffic information. All the location information is stored with the maps. I recently used it in South Africa to get around and it worked great. I would select my destination and routing the night before and saved it. The next day I just retrieved the information from the Saved list and off we went, no WIFI or Bluetooth ever needed.
