“I have bought this GPS. And with the first one I bought. I ended up having a overheating problem which caused unit to not turn back on. I returned it got a second unit and I'm having the same problem it gets warm and when you shut it off it will not power”

my did that and I discovered it was only on cloudy days

Hmmm! Had this issue with my new one, cable was replaced. Problem happened again. Had the device replaced last week. Will see if the problem re-occurs. Had no such issue with my original device. Had it for more than 2 years. Unfortunately it was destroyed and had to be replaced.
