Yes. I believe it should work in any vehicle. I use it in my SUV.

I don't have a truck, but mine works great in the car. On a trip just the other day from Groton to Hartford, I was notified of construction, and traffic delays all along the way. As long as the unit can see the sky, it will work in any vehicle.

No this unit does not offer truck routing. You want a dezl OTR device for this use.
