Hi Bob - When replacing an over-the-range microwave, the mounting bracket included with the new microwave should be used since the mounting bracket is specific to each model. The new screws, bolts, and exhaust adapter should also be used. All 30" over-the-range microwaves are approximately the same width, and are designed to fit into a 30" wide cabinet opening. Each microwave comes with the mounting hardware (mounting bracket, screws, exhaust adapter), top and rear templates, and installation instructions needed to make installation a simple process. This makes choosing a replacement microwave easy. We certainly appreciate your loyalty! Keep in touch! Sue
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've changed out so many microwaves to learn that it all "depends". Take out the old one. Then, just simply compare the new bracket to the installed one you already have. Should be ok but companies literally change their designs every production cycle. So, no guarantee until you see the old one compared to the new one. Good luck! PS we love our's. Quiet, simple controls. No nonsense bells and whistles on the program screen!
