Hi gzar - Thanks for viewing GE! The door is hinged on the left side. This means the door will open at the right and swing to the left. Microwave doors are not reversible. This model has a 98 degree door swing. Allow 1/2" clearance on the hinge side if the microwave is against a wall or deep cabinet.
