Hi - Thanks for choosing GE. We are sorry to hear of this unfortunate experience. If the washer overflows when filling, it may be a water valve or pressure switch problem, which will require service. If you would like to schedule a service appointment, please contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 or schedule a service appointment online: https://www.geappliances.com/ge/service-and-support/service.htm?ICID=GEARsupportflyout-service - We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That sounds like it broken. I have mine for about 3 weeks and that doesn't happen when I am doing the wash. Do you have it on Precise Fill? I haven't use that yet but maybe you are overloading the machine and it keeps filling with water to compensate for the amount of clothes in tub. I hope this helps if not maybe you should call for a service call.
