“Bought the GE washer today does not seem to be working properly period while washing the water still is coming into the washing machine it overflows please help us”

That sounds like it broken. I have mine for about 3 weeks and that doesn't happen when I am doing the wash. Do you have it on Precise Fill? I haven't use that yet but maybe you are overloading the machine and it keeps filling with water to compensate for the amount of clothes in tub. I hope this helps if not maybe you should call for a service call.
