Hi Anna - Thanks for reaching out to us regarding your washer. We are sorry to hear it is not operating. It sounds like the water may be turned off to the washer. Turn both hot and cold faucets fully on. See page 13 of the Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - Any time the washer is being started or restarts after the washer lid has been opened and closed, the washer will turn on the cold water valve for two short periods followed by a 10 second pause before continuing. If the lid is opened during this period, the washer will pause. You will have to push the Start button again to restart the cycle. See page 4 of the Owner's Manual- START-UP SEQUENCE: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-90576-3.pdf - If your washer senses a power spike, unbalanced load, or disruption in power it will send a fault code to your motor and may require the motor to be reset. View TOP LOAD WASHER - HYDROWAVE MOTOR RESET: https://products.geappliances.com/appliance/gea-support-search-content?contentId=17391 - If you need further assistance, a qualified service technician is required for an accurate diagnosis. We encourage you to contact GE Appliance Service at 1-800-432-2737 for assistance or conveniently schedule an appointment online at GEAppliances.com - Keep in touch! Sue
