Hi - Thank you for your interest in this beautiful GE Appliances double wall oven. We have not received any indication that the sound of the fan that protects the electronic controls is overly loud. It is a fairly low hum you will hear while it's running. This is a great model and we believe you will be happy with the features and capacity it offers.
