“Is there any way to keep this unit from turning off and on during the cooling process? While trying to sleep at night, the compressor turns off after reaching the selected temp and the fan stops minutes after that. This repeating cycle is LOUD /ANNOYING!”

Hi there! We appreciate the question and apologize for any sleep you might have lost. The only setting that will run continuously is Fan. For quieter & nighttime cooling, we recommend selecting the COOL mode and LOW fan speed with a middle set temperature. We hope this helps! - John@GEAppliances
