No, but we had one of new front load washers when HE's were first available. This does not have the smell bc there is no casket. Will Never have a washer with a cashet

If you keep the lid closed the air won't circulate and dry out the moisture remaining in the tub area. The air and moisture mixture becomes stagnant and creates an odor. When the washer is not in use, leaving the lid up/open for air circulation will help prevent odor. We recommend using Tide Washing Machine Cleaner. (Please follow the directions on the package).
