I Received my washer about 2 weeks ago. It works great!, cleans well, it does not have complicated settings. Its large enough to fit quilts and washes fast. We bought it for our vacation home rental so that cleaning crew can wash all of the linens and the guest can wash their clothes with out the complication of learning washer settings. We bought the set washer and dryer deal.

Like our new washer Pretty well. A little noisy but it washes well. We like it because it is very plain. We wanted less things to go wrong with it.

I bought this washing machine on recommendation from my parents because they have a larger version of this machine that they like and because it was the closest thing I could find to my old machine which lasted 18 years. This machine does the job it is supposed to do, but it is very loud. The wash cycle makes a unsettling whirring noise. The machine does not seem to fill with enough water in the Precise Fill mode, so I tend to use the High water level setting for almost everything. Additionally the lid locks during the spin cycle so if the items inside get off balance you cannot open the lid to adjust things and restart the spin cycle. The spin cycle spins clothing almost to the point of being dry, so that may be good or bad depending on your point of view. This results in very wrinkled clothing. If you are looking for a basic, inexpensive machine that does what it is supposed to do, this is it. Just don't expect much more than that. On a different note, the guys who delivered and installed this machine and hauled away the old one were fantastic!

I was a little nervous when I order my washer. I've researched for months, trying to find one as close as possible to the old fashioned ones. This one is very close. The lid only locks on the spinning mode, meaning that if I can add more clothes even when after the cycle starts. It have a speed wash and it only takes around 30 minutes. I'm very happy with my purchase.

My old GE Washer made less noise ? My New GE Washer makes a sawing type noise maybe its the agitator that makes the different my old machine I replaced it because it was squeaking and the agitator floated up the spindle and was not wash out the soap from colored clothing? It was purchased in 09/ 3/1989 from circuit city? Hope I get that amount service from this new machine?

A great washer all around. Basic but still lots of settings for different materials. Pretty quiet and spins clothes very dry. A great deal!

I Genuinely really like the washer. It does its job. I love that on the inside it's not just a weird tube, this one actually has like little wings on the on the center piece(agitator). I feel like it scrubs the clothes better.

Great washer! Love that you can pick your load size. Wash loads of laundry that don’t take long. Spins clothes so well that they dry in no time. I would totally recommend this washer.

This washer has an agitator and is huge inside. It gets our clothes really clean without a lot of detergent. We no longer need to take the big blankets to the cleaners.

So far I’m enjoying this washing machine. It’s a basic and simple machine to operate

This machine works great like the higher priced models but easy on the pocketbook

Did I get lucky when I selected this set for my tight space in my 1930 home. The new to me features such as precise fill water sensor and the variety of wash settings are GREAT!

It shakes and sounds like you put boots in it! It washes ok but i bet it goes out within a year. The motor is also very very loud. I hope im wrong but being a little unlevel shouldn't make it walk across the floor and thump.

So far is working good. Hopefully it continues. But as I say nothing like the old school washers. At least this GE is not too complicated.

I do so much laundry with a family of six, dogs, sports etc.... a few load a day. It's been almost 9 months and this machine has been great.

Delivery - no problems. Has been working just fine. Simple to use. I just put the clothes in it. Add the laundry soap and turn it on.

Perfect washing machine for our needs. Fit into our snug laundry room and provides us with all of the washing options we require.

I love my new washing machine! I had to get used to the new settings but now I love it!
