Can the washer drain pipe be 8 ft above the floor null

Hello Jeff - Thank you for your interest in this excellent new washer. The drain or standpipe should be at least 24" off but no more than 96". So 8 feet will be the maximum height for the drain. Please let us know if you have any more questions. - John@GEA
