“Got one of these and am using it inside a yacht. The tank fills with water every 30 minutes. Can I use the bottom plug to drain instead of the top one due to high humid conditions?”

“The upper drain plug is provided to allow automatic draining when there is a full tank, like in Dehumidification Mode or Cooling Mode in high humidity areas. The lower drain plug is typically used for Cooling or Heating Mode, or for draining the tank for storage.” This is from GE’s website. It sounds like you should use the top drain plug. Hope that helps.
