• You can order those, if you’re not concerned with looks you can rig up something, that’s what I did with the 8000 btu portable I have.

• The unit comes with the a venting setup that, as far as I can tell, wouldn't be suitable for a sliding patio door. We have it venting through a double hung window. There is just not enough "plastic" surrounding the vent for the dimensions of a door.
