Do not install against a wall or cabinet. No air clearance is required in the rear. If the model has removable rubber feet, they may be removed. A:AnswerGE does not make a mounting kit for this microwave. I used the previous mounting kit that I had from my old GE microwave, but I returned the GE microwave because it is too small and not strong enough. I recently purchased a Whirlpool microwave that is the same dimensions on the face, but it is deeper and it is 1,200 watts. It fit perfectly into the old GE mounting kit that I had from my old GE microwave. The Whirlpool model does come with a mounting kit, but the mounting kit is out of stock. If you are using the old GE mounting kit, you may have to modify it to make it work with the new microwave. I had our handyman cut it and modify it to work with the new microwave.

A:AnswerNot to sure you didnt specify the 14.25 measurement. But im thinking it's the height? So moving forward try to measure how wide by depth by height . You would have a base line to go with. Also if you have to get a slightly smaller one see if there's a trim bezel to go around the face of the microwave to fill in the gap. also if ya have a picture of the older one include that
