“I have a very small space. Just took out a hood vent. I want to put this microwave in it’s place. Dimensions are 24”W - 12”Height - 12” Deep. Can I install this microwave without a trim kit?”

Hello - Thanks for your question; we are happy to help! If your vent hood was installed over a cooking surface, you cannot install this microwave instead of the hood. This microwave can be used on a countertop without a trim kit; if you want to put it into a cabinet, the trim kit is required to ensure the correct venting of the unit. Thanks for checking. Olga@GEA
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes I did these things last about 5 to 7 years, I am getting my 3rd and I am glad I never got the trim kit because they always change the ovens and trim, the ones now can use tri from a few years ago.
