I just had this refrigerator installed yesterday. I was under the impression it should have WiFi. It has the sticker with the SSID, MAC address and password, but no WiFi symbol appears in the display. Does this need to be enabled before it can be set up? null

Use the included or online manual. It walks you through the Wi-Fi set-up procedure. The WiFi is, however, extremely limited on this GE. It is not like a Samsung or LG that can connect with the company to diagnose problems. However, GE is so much better in repair records that calling by old fashioned phone call to GE to set up a service call is about 50 times less likely than those other brands.

Hi alrox - Thank you for having purchased this beautiful GE refrigerator. Based on the information in the Owner's Manual on Page 12, the GE Appliances ap would need to be downloaded and an account set up using the credentials you found on the WiFi label. Then follow the instructions to connect to the refrigerator's built-in WiFi module. Once you are all set-up, the WiFi symbol should be displayed.
