Hi Mike- This is Sue at GE Appliances. Thanks for considering our GE Profile Series PEM31SFSS! The approximate dimensions are as follows: (HxWxD) 12 1/8 in x 24 in x 12 7/8 in. Microwaves need adequate air clearance on each side, the rear and the top to function properly. This allows good circulation for the intake and discharge air vents. We recommend 3" of clearance on both sides and the top and 1" clearance in the rear. The front edge of the microwave (measured at door) should sit at least 3" or more back on the counter or shelf to avoid accidental tipping. Model JEM3072SHSS (GE® 0.7 CU. FT. CAPACITY COUNTERTOP MICROWAVE OVEN) is approximately 10 1/8"H x 17 1/4"W x 13"D and will allow more air clearance on top. Thanks for checking with us!
