Based on 15 amps used at 120 volts, that equals 1800 watts- the actual number is likely lower- but that's the best number I come up with to use for electrical power consumption. Compared to my current 7200 watt dryer I'm replacing with this unit, I expect to save a proportional amount of electric, as well as be able to run this unit with my generator if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hello. Our UltraFast Combo uses an estimated 136 kWh in yearly electricity use. The estimated annual energy cost for the washer is $19, if you’re using an electric water heater, though your cost may vary based on use and utility rates. The estimated energy cost is based on six wash loads a week and the national average for electricity costs. That said, our Combo is so game changing that the Department of Energy doesn’t yet really have a way to effectively evaluate an all-in-one wash and dry! For the dryer, we are 50% more energy efficient with our Ventless Heat Pump, compared to the standard Energy Star qualifications for an electric dryer. We hope this information helps, and we’re confident the Combo would be a great fit for your laundry needs! -Sarah@GEA
