• Thank you for your question, Rs. The grilling plates to this grill are completely removable. The plates can either be washed by hand, or in the dishwasher.

• Yes, definitely. They are each held on by two spring clips that are easy to release. Plates are dishwasher-proof, but the plastic drip tray says "top rack only".

• Both the top and bottom are removable and it seems they will be long lasting. I spray PAM on them so as not to make a mess. The Foreman also comes in different colors so there ya go!
