I'm not positive but I would think so. Worst case, return it to BBQ if it doesn't work.

Yes - the wifi is handled by the Chromecast - the speaker does not require any wifi capability

It will as long as you have wifi available. The Chromecast Audio will connect to the wifi and will play through the 3.5 jack to the speaker.
