• I have taken a Chromecast from the US to Europe and ithe power adapter functions fine. You do need a plug adapter from the US standard to whatever country you in.

• The power adaptor I have is 120 volt 60Hz, however if your power adaptor is able to charge a standard cell phone,you should be able to remove the adaptor that comes with the chromecast audio and replace it with yours. Plug the standard USB cable connector into your adaptor then plug the other end (USB mini) into the chromecast audio. Hope this helps.
