Yes. From the Google home app you can create different groups of speakers. You can even default which group of speakers you would like to cast to. Right now I can say "ok Google, play Spotify" this will play music on my Google home and the 2 speakers I have chromecasts for. Or you can specify which exact speaker.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.See my review. I tried for 3 weeks to do exactly that. I gave up. They are not interested in legacy devices as part of a whole home system. Maybe if you buy all new Chromecast,Home,it might work. Good luck with google support. I never received a single reply to my 5 technical questions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you will be able to have Google Home transit to multiple devices. In the Google Home app on your phone, make sure all Chromecast Audio devices are linked to the account. Within the device section of the app, you should be able to create a speaker group. A minimal of 2 speakers. Make sure you give it distinct/unique name for the group of speakers. I have mine setup at "Condo". So, I state "Hey Google, play music by Steve Miller Band on Condo." All speakers within the group will play in sync.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can but you have either set a IFTTT (third party app) setting or say which speaker you want it to play on.
