The Jack and plug provided are 2 channel (stereo) connections. If you wish to split the stereo signal, you can either purchase a 3.5mm y connector or rca audio y connector. Either way, if you are going from 3.5mm to rca, you will need a 3.5mm to rca connector. Pretty easy to find. Keep in mind if you split the signal, expect a bit of audio loss. ;)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Chromecast will not drive speakers directly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will play in stereo. It has 3.5mm audio jack, so you would need to buy a 3.5mm male audio plug to stereo RCA.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. That's actually a pretty good idea for certain setups. If done right yes it would. if you were to get two, and only use the left or right for each chromecast, you could do left and right channels and put it on opposite sides of the room instead of two chromecasts doing L/R
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.if you mean that you're going to use a RCA to Mini cable (3.5mm jack in and 2 RCA's out) out of the Chromecast Audio, if you connect it to one speaker using a stereo cable than yes, it should play in stereo. if you run it to multiple speakers, based on the fact that you said "separate speakers" than i would think it would only play in mono cause that will mean that you're going to rig it with multiple cables...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, I am using this set-up myself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, it does, that is what I got going.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a 3.5mm output jack. You would probably just need a 3.5mm to stereo RCA cable or if you were using powered monitors maybe a 3.5mm to female stereo RCA adapter and the individual RCA cables for each channel. It definitely supports stereo.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.RCA jacks play one sound channel through the red jack and one channel through the white jack. So if you are plugging the white jack into one speaker and the red jack into another speaker you should end up with each speaker playing sound from the channel that is plugged into it. I am assuming you are planning on using an adaptor though because the chromecast uses an hdmi connector.
