1) There are 2 different Chromecasts', you'll want to make sure you get the right one. 2) The Video Chromecast will plug into any TV with an HDMI port (any flatscreen TV from the last 10 years should have this) 3) It works over your wifi signal. 4) You'll need the app on your phone or computer, whatever you are watching programs from. 5) It costs $35

You can stream HBO Go, Netflix, etc... as long as you have a subscription with them. This can run thru your speakers by plugging it directly into an HDMI port on the back of the receiver as I have done. From there, your HDMI out will supply all the video and audio for your speakers and TV.

HBO works with Chromecast through an app. Surround sound will have to be setup through your TV and receiver.
