• The Chromecast does not receive broadcasted television signals. It plays what you project from a mobile device or PC.

• This isn't really a TV antenna as much as it is something that you use to send video or audio from your phone/tablet to your TV. For instance, if I am watching a youtube video on my phone, I can choose to 'cast' it to my TV. This lets me use my phone as a remote to select volume, watch a new video or play music. Using your laptop or computer you can also 'cast' webpages (only when using the Google Chrome browser with Chromecast extension). It's incredibly handy but it's not something you would use specifically to watch TV stations unless you can stream them from your phone.

• Its not for tv bro. Its primarily for streaming video and audio from your phone or web browser.

• This will not allow you to watch over the air broadcast television. This is for wifi-based streaming, like Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon.

• Remember this is for casting to an HDMI capable device so local stations can be received directly via an over-the-air antenna or by a phone or tablet app that includes casting capability.

• You can cast pretty much anything you can see on your smartphone or pc/laptop. No restrictions. Some media companies like HBO, Amazon and Netflix have apps and services more optimized for Chromecast, though nothing on Chromecast limits what you wish to watch.

• this is not a receiver like roku, it uses apps on your phone (youtube,and other streaming feeds if you have movie channels hbo,cinemax or apps like netflix ) you can stream those to your tv

• This is not an antenna. It does not pick up stations. You can watch on your TV what ever you can watch on your phone. tablet or computer from the internet
