I think so, but you probably need to stream it through the google's internet chrome browser on your laptop only. The chromecast only supports the chrome browser (you have to install the google chromecast browser extension first) or other Google Play Store apps. It does not seem to support the tablet chrome browser version. You might be able to find a third party app that will work with your tablet, but it will cost you extra money and it might not work that good either.

If you use Google Chrome and download the Cast add on you can mirror your browser screen (including whatever streamING site you're watching) as well as play media files from your computer by dragging them into the browser window on your computer.
