• No, chromecast does not stream amazon prime directly from the app such as youtube or netflix. But you can stream amazon prime by streaming the Google chrome tab on your laptop or pc. Not sure if quality is any good if done that way but you can try and see for yourself.

• I have not found an official app or extension similar to Netflix, or Youtube where you can directly cast the video to your TV but you can load Amazon Prime video player from your Chrome browser on your PC. Play the video, then click the blue ‘cast’ icon on the upper right of your screen. This won't work on a phone or tablet running the mobile versions of Chrome.

• Currently there is no Amazon Prime app available to stream their Instant Video library from your device to your television. A workaround for this is streaming the instant video from you Chrome web browser on your laptop or computer. You can do this by installing the Google Cast extension for your Chrome browser. From there, you will be able cast your Chrome tab that's playing Amazon Prime Instant videos directly to your television. The quality of the playback may be affected by the specifications for your computer/laptop.

• If you go to Google playstore.... Click Apps -->Categories--> Choose Google Cast There will be a list all the offiacial app that can be used with Chromecaast

• The Chromecast does not stream Amazon prime as Amazon has not released an app for non Kindle devices to date. The kindle app does not work with the Chromecast yet either.
