• You can cast app that support this hardware to TV either iphone or android. For PC it is the same, as long the program you used is supported you can cast the exact screen to TV. I am casting chrome browser tab without any problem. Take note, no mouse pointer will appear on your TV.

• There is an option for screen mirror in the app for the chrome cast, but it's in beta so you may lose connection and if may freeze or lag at times.
