It will work on xp, 7 would be better. No way to use wired, the device is wireless only.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, chromecast requires a wifi connection to work. The only wire on the chromecast is a micro usb port thats used to power the device.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I believe the answer to your 1st question is yes. I am fairly certain it works with XP. Of course you can just run a cable to the TV, assuming your TV has an input that is compatible with your laptop. Does your laptop have an HDMI output? Does your TV have a VGA input? Either cable will work fine, but remember that VGA does not carry audio, so you will need a separate audio cable if you go that route. But, this would completely void any need for the ChromeCast. The sole purpose of this device is to give you wireless connectivity. Really? AT&T gave you a wireless router that they know is suspect? I would personally have called them on that. Is there another model available?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. It is a wireless device that plugs into your HDMI port on your TV and is powered by either a USB port on your TV or an adapter that is included so it can be plugged into a nearby wall outlet. It does not have any other ports for ethernet cables or any other plugs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The only way I know to get it to work with your computer is to use the Chrome extension. Because you're using XP, I don't think you can download Google Chrome onto your computer anymore.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works through your internet browser. As long as you use Google Chrome (a recent version), and you download the casting extension for it, I believe it should work just fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It will work with Windows XP. The cable included is an extension cable for the Chromecast to the HDMI port. Chromecast only uses wireless setup. Get a better more reliable wireless modem/router. Shop for additional supported models.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This stick is not an USB stick. It has an HDMI plug which goes into your TV. It must connect to a wireless network to receive the streams.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It only works with wireless. You can stream from your phone and your win xp pc with the chrome browser
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes if you have google browser
