You'll need the internet (and wi-fi network) for this to work. It may not replace the fios (it doesn't have its own channels). Chromecast works with a growing number of apps, including Netflix, HBO GO, YouTube, WatchESPN & Pandora. You'll need a smart phone, tablet or a computer to initiate the program. You can watch different Netflix program on different TV's at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The purpose of this product is to be able to take something on your computer and have it play on your tv. I don't think that is what you are trying to do. It doesn't pick up a TV signal. As far as netflix, you can set up an account for all three of them, which means every one gets there own recommendations, but the default is only 2 can be connected at a time. I think there is an option to upgrade to 4, but I am not sure about it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecasts aren't meant to replace cable tv. It's plugged into the tv (same port your verizon fios box plugs into) and streams content from the internet services such as Netflix. It is possible all 3 of your kids to watch different things on netflix on one account, different tvs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you do not. All you need is the internet and a wireless router to connect your Chromecast to your network. You don't need a Fios Cable box to use Chromecast. Simplly plug in Chromecast to an HDMI port on the back of your TV, plug in the USB power cord into the available USB port also behind the TV, then finally turn on your TV and setup your Chromecast to connect to your wireless home network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can send streams to chromecast as long as it supports the media it's coming from. So Netflix is one example. If they each have their own tv's, you will need a chromecast for each tv. Then, assuming the chromecast addon is installed on their Web browser or smartphone, they can stream what they are watching to either chromecast provided all devices are connected to your WiFi
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm not sure what a verizon fios box is. But in regards to Netfix, if you have an account that allows streaming to 3 devices at the same time and each of them has their own device (android, iPhone, PC) to stream from, then yes they could all watch different things at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.TO STREAM FROM NETFLIX IF U R SETUP WITH MULTIPLE USERS EACH ROOM WILL NEED CHROMECAST WIFI AND A SMART TV OR SMART BLU-RAY PLAYER. NOT FAMILIAR WITH FIOS
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast is not a cable service. you will still need the fios boxes if you want to get over the air tv. Yes you can stream multiple apps at the same time like nextflix
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes as long as you have a different chrome cast for each room and good internet speed so it won't buffer too much.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.First, you will no longer need the FiOS boxes, as long as you are content to use a digital antenna and your Chromecast device. If you have Netflix, then enjoy your viewing pleasure on every tv at the same time! ;)
