• If there is an app that you can use and then mirror from your phone or maybe a website then you could mirror that as well.

• Chromecast only casts whatever is on your PC, laptop, phone, tablet, etc. If you can find a way to stream local TV on one these then you can wathc local TV through the chromecast. I would recommend an antenna if you only need local channels. Think of the chromecast as an HDMI adapter that is all it really it. Just helps you cut the cord from device to TV.

• You'll need a digital antenna to receive local stations. Chromecast does not do this but is an expensive way to get to Netflix and other web based content.
