Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, I have a kindle fire HDX 8.9", and does not work even with apps like Netflix which on other android platforms works... This is probably because amazon has their own 'fire stick' competitor to chromecast.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the best of my knowledge, No Chromecast doesn't support Kindle. you can refer to the apps Chromecast offers.https://www.google.com/chrome/devices/chromecast/apps.html#?category=other
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need Chrome to be able to cast shows from the internet to your TV. However, you can watch shows from ESPN, HBO on Go, etc. by downloading and installing the applications on your Kindle. You are better off with an Android tablet or iOS tablet as they will run Chrome. You will get a bang for your buck.
