“Is there an activation fee or any other costs incurred to use this card after purchase? I am only purchasing a SIM card to port my landline number to it so that I can then port it to Google Voice. Will this work for that?”

• You can definitely use it for such purpose but beware the charges it incurs will be prorated and charged to your account for how many ever days you use. There will be no activation fees to it but you will need a compatible device to activate this sim card.

• Not really. There is no activation fee but $20 a month for unlimited calls.
