• It can be used off the wrist. I have only used the wrist option due to wanting to track my sleep, heart, and skin temperature.

• Hey there. You can take the band off your Inspire 3 and use it with a clip. Just remember to switch from "Worn on Wrist" mode to "Clipped on Body" mode. Keep in mind that some features like heart-rate tracking, automatic exercise tracking, and Active Zone Minutes won't be available when it's clipped.
