• You can manage or change a variety of settings for the Nest cameras like video quality, notifications, and more, including turning the camera on or off, using the Google Home app. To turn the camera on or off: - Open the Google Home app. - On the home screen, touch and hold the camera's tile to view its live video stream. - For cameras that are battery powered, the battery status screen will appear first. Tap Live video to go live. - On the live view screen, tap More options (3 dot menu icon). - Select Turn on camera or Turn off camera. If the camera is already turned off, you’ll also find Turn on camera near the bottom of the live view screen. You can also turn the camera on or off at specific times using the camera schedule, or set it to turn on and off automatically when your home senses that you’ve left or come back.
