Yes it can send email notifications also the app notifies you instantly depending on what you have set to from motion to hearing voices to seeing a person also you can set target areas if it get annoying after constantly getting notification meeting red zones that you definitely want to be inform if it sees anything in that parameter

You can get phone app notifications or email notifications. It also connects with IFTTT so you can have it do almost anything that IFTTT is capable of. The down side is they still dont have any special IFTTT triggers for specific people it identifies.
