I spliced the cord, reconnected and then installed. Was easy, but if not sure, just google or ask a handy friend or electrician to help.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had the same issue. It appears as though you could cut and splice at least of the electrical cord. I merely coiled the additional wire, used cable ties and afixed it near the outlet.
