yes is easy to setup they have the direction on the thermostat and you can just go on youtube best buy Geek charge 80 dollar but you can do it in 3 min save that money and buy yourself a google mini for 49.99 and hook it up ,so you wont have to do much just ask google(you can listen to news,music,ask random questions even hear a joke when you bored lol)

The W or W1 wire controls your heating system. All systems should have a "W" or "W1" system...if you don't see one, then your system is probably not wired the standard way or you have an incompatible system. What wires do you have?
