“Hello- I have a thermostat for both the in floor heat and the furnace/ac. There are 2 old thermostats hanging on my wall. I am wondering if this Nest thermostat can eliminate one and control both the water heater for the in floor heat and the furnace/ac?”

The Nest Learning Thermostat works with 95% of 24 Volt heating and cooling systems, and may be compatible with both your floor heater and furnace. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I recommend you contact a reputable HVAC contractor which should be able to inspect you particular application. Depending on you particular application they might be able to make it work with one but it would require some work and possible rewiring. Best Buy employees aren't qualified to give experienced answers to these type of questions. Not all applications are suited for DIY's either. HVAC professionals are that for a reason, but then again not all HVAC techs are professionals. Go with a reputable company.
