hello I was wondering if you connect these to a desktop computer with a google account can you still activate the noise canceling feature or is that only with a mobile device ?? null

There is not a true noise cancelling feature on the A series... Just the Pro.

These buds do not have noise cancellation. And I often connect them to my desktop as long as Bluetooth is available.

Yes. It's possible to connect Pixel Buds A-Series to your desktop computer via Bluetooth connection. However, A-Series doesn't come with an active Noise Canceling feature. We recommend checking the Pixel Buds Pro instead, since it's the model that comes with the ANC feature that you're looking for. Also, the Active Noise Canceling feature on Pixel Buds Pro will work with any Bluetooth 4.0 (or newer) device including Android, iOS, tablets, and laptops.
