• The outside of the housing is stainless steel. The basket seems being coated with non-stick coating. I did not turn on my unit and returned it right away for it did not come with user manual, warranty card or recipe book.

• The housing is stainless... inside metal basket and pan are nonstick metal... I've used on at least three times a week for 3 1/2 weeks with absolutely NO problems.,. If you’re contemplating the purchase, DO IT.
