- Answer Hello there, Please note you are asking this question on an 80v battery which is not compatible with our 40v line. However, yes you can use a larger amp hour (Ah) with your 40v unit. A model number would help us better advise or you can visit us directly and select shop by voltage then select the 40v line. We hope this information has helped.

- Answer Our 40V battery cannot be used with an 80V charger/units and vice versa. Greenworks manufactures a range of voltage platforms from 24V - 80V, each voltage platform has its own set of interchangeable tools and battery but are not interchangeable across different voltage platforms. Only Greenworks batteries, chargers and machines of the same voltage are compatible and interchangeable with one another.

QuestionBought lawnmower with 2-80V 2.0 Ah batt. 3yrs ago. It remained unopened til about one year ago because I decided to replace sod(took a while) . Used 3 times now and one of the batt dies immediately! out of warr. Can dormant unused batterie be rejuvinated?
