I've watched television with them and the screen did not look orange. However, the screen will be darker. The point of the glasses for me was to eliminate the bright screens when working or watching tv. Even at the lowest settings both screens were too bright for me. These glasses are very good at shielding that blaring light. The quality and brand is excellent. I live in a 2-story home so I liked them so much I purchased a second pair so I don't have to run up and down with them.
