• The more expensive model uses the K-cups. If you want to spend a little more time, you could always open the K-cup and empty it into the single cup side.

• Thank you for your question. This appliance is also offered in black/silver coloring. K-Cups are not designed to work with this appliance. This appliance will utilize soft coffee pods.
