• Yes the top gets hot so nothing can be left there when in use. There is a timer and yes you can set the temperature. Doesn't heat my kitchen up like my stove does. Love it!!

• Thank you for your question. When in use the outside of this appliance will become hot. This unit will also have a 120 minute timer or Stay On feature. The temperature can be set from 150 degrees F - 450 degrees F.

• Yes the top of the oven does get hot, but not too much. It does have a timer and several temperature settings.
