• My tv remote controls the soundbar. You can also adjust the sound setting with your tv remote. Or at least mine did.

• The TV remote will only control mute & volume on the TV speaker. You need the soundbar remote for the soundbar only. I set the the TV volume to 4 or 5 and use the TOSLINK connection for the soundbar. On my HISENSE TV switching to wireless audio disconnects the built-in TV audio processor and speaker. With the TOSLINK connection you can use both (at separate volume levels).
