Hi, you can control this thermostat remotely from a different location. You will first have to make sure to connect the T9 thermostat to a Wi-Fi network and register it using the Resideo app. The phone with the app should also be connected to Wi-Fi or using mobile data when trying to control the thermostat remotely. - Maria
