Yes, you can set dimming levels for inactive and sleep times. You can set it to 0 for blackout.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can adjust the "Inactive Back-light" and Inactive Sleep Back-light" by percentages. If you set it to 0% it will turnoff the back-light. It is a nice feature, much nicer having the unit screen lit dimly when not in use.
